Jac heads to San Fran in November

A few months ago, Jac spoke at the 360 Flex conference in San Jose. (which is a conference for computer guys)  He said that his presentation went really well and that he made a lot of connections.  There is another BIG conference called the Max Conference, which is also for computer guys, so another great reason to get together with fellow computer "guys" and talk geek for 3 days straight!  The big kahuna over this Max Conference emailed Jac and said that they have a few presentation openings and wanted Jac to speak at the Max conference.  Jac really wanted to go, but it was to expensive...so what a blessing (and honor, I must say) that he gets to go to the Max conference for free.  (excluding the plane ticket down there...but what the hey, right?)

I am so proud of my honey.  And I am grateful that he gets to go and present at Max.  Way to go sweetie and good luck!

He's got a new way to walk, walk, walk

...and his new walk suits him fine.

We have been featured!

Many of you know that I am on a business venture with my friends.  Our company is called Angela's Accessories, and we were actually featured on two sites!  Yeah!  I was so excited, I wanted to tell you all because if you would ask me what I've been up to, I would tell you anyway.

So, here are the two sites that Angela's Accessories was featured:

For all my fellow readers (hehe), these two hair blogs are awesome!  They are both very creative and easy hair do's for a little girl.  I even attempted a hair do, so I know if I can do it, so can you!

Okay, I tried....

Emery is into trying new hair styles lately.  We debate on her hair every day, and I have come to the conclusion that Mom has the last say.  Ha, just kidding.  No, we alternate hair decision days...one day it's Emmy, the other day it's me.  So, today I wanted to try a different hair style and I got inspired from the blog: hair4myprincess.blogspot.com.  So, here are a couple shots of her 'new do' with some mini korker bows from my business.

Emery's Pirate Party

For weeks, Emery has been talking about having a Pirate Party with her Grandma's.  She wanted to invite Grandma, Grammy and Grandma Tanner.  She said, "Oh, I would invite Grandma Chapin, but she's in heaven."  So when we asked Jac, he said, "No, because I want to be invited." So, Emery altered her plans and invited the Grandpa's and her daddy and brothers.  She wrote out invitations and planned her party.

So on Monday, her Pirate Party dream came true.  We played "Pin the Parrot on the Pirates (shoulder)."  We printed off a picture of Emmy in a pirate costume and she made her own parrot pics.  Emery also showed everyone how to play "Bubble gum, Bubble gum, in a dish."  And last but not least we had a balloon toss.  The night was so enjoyable!  We made cupcakes in ice cream cones and had pirate cups, plates, napkins.  Thanks for everyone who came!  You made my little girls Pirate Party a success!
