Happy Birthday Sweets

sidenote: Jac just told me that they now have Picasa for the Mac!! I am totally excited to use it again and can't wait to find my camera cord and make some fun collages for you guys.

But today is my hubby's birthday!!!!! Today, I made German Pancakes for breakfast....and they were mighty good. Jac worked in the morning and is spending the rest of the day with us! The kids and I went to the store and got some birthday goodies and picked up Zupa's for lunch. I am so excited they have one near us now. I love their Tomato Basil soup mixed with their Cauliflower soup....mmmm...

Tonight, the kids are getting watched and Jac and I are going to go to Happy Sumo for dinner. My sis-in-law organized the dinner hang-out with some other couples....so it should be a lot of fun. I am kind-of scared to go to Happy Sumo and try out their sushi....but it should be good! I'll update you later.

Morgan and Joel said...: I LOVE sushi. Everytime Joel and I get the chance, that is where we eat. And Jack loves potstickers, so the hole family can usually eat there.

10/13: Ethan being a little boy....has lately been obsessed with poop. =) He has been playing with his teddy-bear and said it was his son and he needed to go poop. So, he put him on the potty and his "son" went poop. Ethan imitated it by "Poop...poop, poop."

8/20: Ethan making up a song and singing:

"Once I was in the store, and I couldn't find my family, and so now I'm in yours." Sad but funny.

8/7: Emery: "Daddy's don't get tired because Daddy's don't have babies."

6/1: Me: "Emmy, do you want a grilled cheese sandwich?"
Emery: "Yes, Mom."
Me: "Ethan, do you want a grilled cheese sandwich?"
Ethan: "No, I want a boy-cheese sandwich."
I guess I said it more like a "girl-cheese sandwich" instead of a grilled cheese sandwich.

5/8: Ethan went to Old Navy with me. I said, "Ethan, I'm so glad you are going to come with me." He said, "I like you, Mom." So I said, "Thank you, my son." Then Ethan said, "You're my favorite Mom."

2/24: Ethan just finished brushing my hair. I told him thank you and he looked at me and smiled and said, "You look like a princess."

2/18: Ethan picked his nose and had a boogie. I told him "Don't wipe it on the blanket." And he answered me, with a tilted head, "Don't eat it?"

1/26: Emery was looking in my mouth and noticed my fillings. It was a good time to teach about dental hygiene. A moment later, she was jumping on me. I told her to stop and then she said, "Sorry, I don't want to hurt your fillings." She laughed. She thought she was so funny.

1/14: Emery and Ethan were exercising and Ethan said: "Mom, feel my heart!" And after I checked it...Ethan said: "My heart is getting bigger, Mom!"

12/30: Jac: "Hey, buddy, be careful...don't pinch."
Ethan: "Hey, dad, you don't have skin."

12/26: Ethan: "I have to go potty, weally bad."

12/17: Emery: "I'm not afraid of anything because all the dinosaurs are dead. They just have dinosaur bones, so yeah...I'm not afraid of anything, not even the dark."
