Teddy Bear's Picnic

Today, We had a Teddy Bear Picnic! The nearby library organized it and had "Story-Time" and had a Teddy Bear Picnic. All the kids brought a lunch and their teddy bears. Emmy actually brought her Cheetah named "Saleesha." So then the librarian read books, had a parachute and did a "teddy bear" parade. Some friends were there so it was nice and fun. Emery enjoyed every minute while Ethan was involved a little but more into the park that was there. It was a beautiful day especially for a Teddy Bear's Picnic. =P

10/13: Ethan being a little boy....has lately been obsessed with poop. =) He has been playing with his teddy-bear and said it was his son and he needed to go poop. So, he put him on the potty and his "son" went poop. Ethan imitated it by "Poop...poop, poop."

8/20: Ethan making up a song and singing:

"Once I was in the store, and I couldn't find my family, and so now I'm in yours." Sad but funny.

8/7: Emery: "Daddy's don't get tired because Daddy's don't have babies."

6/1: Me: "Emmy, do you want a grilled cheese sandwich?"
Emery: "Yes, Mom."
Me: "Ethan, do you want a grilled cheese sandwich?"
Ethan: "No, I want a boy-cheese sandwich."
I guess I said it more like a "girl-cheese sandwich" instead of a grilled cheese sandwich.

5/8: Ethan went to Old Navy with me. I said, "Ethan, I'm so glad you are going to come with me." He said, "I like you, Mom." So I said, "Thank you, my son." Then Ethan said, "You're my favorite Mom."

2/24: Ethan just finished brushing my hair. I told him thank you and he looked at me and smiled and said, "You look like a princess."

2/18: Ethan picked his nose and had a boogie. I told him "Don't wipe it on the blanket." And he answered me, with a tilted head, "Don't eat it?"

1/26: Emery was looking in my mouth and noticed my fillings. It was a good time to teach about dental hygiene. A moment later, she was jumping on me. I told her to stop and then she said, "Sorry, I don't want to hurt your fillings." She laughed. She thought she was so funny.

1/14: Emery and Ethan were exercising and Ethan said: "Mom, feel my heart!" And after I checked it...Ethan said: "My heart is getting bigger, Mom!"

12/30: Jac: "Hey, buddy, be careful...don't pinch."
Ethan: "Hey, dad, you don't have skin."

12/26: Ethan: "I have to go potty, weally bad."

12/17: Emery: "I'm not afraid of anything because all the dinosaurs are dead. They just have dinosaur bones, so yeah...I'm not afraid of anything, not even the dark."
